For picking an awesome car in an awesome color.
Also big ass lifted truck because awesome. Why don’t all trucks have toolboxes like that built into the bed? The only one that does is the Nissan Titan.

I think Dodge Rams offered them for a bit in the tops caps of the beds.

The Dodge Ram Outdoorsman or whatever it’s called has a built in storage compartment on the top of the bed or whatever you want to call it for guns, fishing rods and such.
I’ve always wanted one of those things for some reason.

I always forget about the damn RamBox. Maybe because I hardly ever seen Rams with the equipped.

One reason for the lack of bed boxes is they take up a good amount of space, especially the Rambox.

RamBox takes up a crazy amount of space.

It takes up space that’s normally compromised by the wheel wells anyway. I can’t remember the last time we needed the extra width in the truck, but we can always use more length.

I heard that the ones on those old F-Series had a tendency to rust out prematurely. I don’t know if that’s true, but it probably soured buyers on the concept for a few years. Of course, the much newer Titan & Ram’s are plastic.

“Yeah, but where else am I supposed to keep my Bud Light, brosef!”

Not entirely sure about “awesome car” but yes, that is an “awesome color” and not the usual boring black, gray, silver, beige.

I wish that color was available when I got mine

Its a pretty damn good car

I was trying to figure out Aveo? Spark? Then I looked at your name. It wasn’t a personal attack on your car. Plus I liked the color.

I wasn’t insulted, just saying the Sonic RS is good

Really? I had no idea. I just assumed that the little imported Chevy cars were crap like they have all been in the past. I assume the Sonic is made by Daewoo? Who didn’t really make great cars under their name or anyone elses’s.
Is your comment that ALL Sonics are good or just the RS model of the Sonic has special suspension and that model is good? Sorry, it just never occurred to me to pay much attention to Chevy’s subcompacts.

I could be mistaken, but the Sonic RS has a 1.4L turbo that is supposed to be pretty good. Definitely a league above the Aveo. That being said, I don’t think they are the best looking cars. If they had more room behind the rear hatch, I’d definitely consider one.

That’s cool. Small cars with turbos are always good. I just googled the Sonic. I actually like how the front end looks. Plus there’s this: http://www.forbes.com/sites/dalebuss…
I can’t keep the Aveo, Spark, Sonic straight in my mind though.

The Sonic is assembled in the U.S.
All sonics are good little cars. The base models are cheap, but the 1.4 turbo is a peppy little motor and the RS has great seats

OK - I l.earned something. 1st gen Chevy Aveo was made by Daewoo. 3rd gen Aveo was renamed Sonic and made and sold by a gazillion GM affiliates over the world. The RS does sound nice with the seats, turbo, and 6 speed.

As did the Avalanche before it, albiet not as big or easy to use.

I have an RS. It could use more power but it's a fun little car

“More power” just lets me (encourages me to) drive like an ass. I’m (everyone else around me is) better off in cars that “need more power”.

Cadillac Escalade EXT and Chevy Avalanche had these awesome pockets. They lock too.
